Who is David Crump and How Can He Help Me?

A brief summary about me and how I got where I am:

While working a desk job I became unsatisfied with my daily inactivity. I wasn't in bad shape, but I lacked motivation, energy, and enjoyment. I began reading a lot about nutrition and physical training and decided it was time for me to do something. I began working out 4 or 5 days a week in my apartment complex gym. It wasn't the greatest, but I made it work and soon I began to see results.

Before I knew it, I was ADDICTED. I completely changed my life. At work I would research health and fitness and then I would put it to practice at home non-stop. Pretty soon, I couldn't even stay still at my desk. I began to realized that this wasn't the job for me and I needed to do something about it.

I left my job and moved to Tallahassee to pursue a career in fitness. I began taking college courses including a Certified Personal Training prep course. I only spent the year in Tallahassee due to personal reasons, but I continued my studies as soon as I got to Orlando.

I passed the test for the National Council on Strength and Fitness and became a CPT. This got me a job at Bally Total Fitness in Orlando. I worked at Bally for a year and was then presented the opportunity to become the personal training manager for their second largest location in Central Florida. It was quite a challenge, but I was successful in building a strong team and increasing revenue while delivering exceptional service.

I was later transferred to another location in Central Florida to rebuild the personal training program, but I became frustrated with the corporate scene and their skewed vision. To them it was all about the money and the client's best interest wasn't a concern. I couldn't work in that atmosphere anymore and I was asked by one of my clients to assist him in opening a gym.

This is how Anytime Fitness of Lake Nona was born. I am currently the General Manager and I'm glad that it gives me the opportunity to really help people reach their goals.

In my years as a fitness professional I have been able to learn quite a bit and help many individuals. I have trained clients from all different walks of life with great success, but I consider my specialty functional training. I believe the body should not only look great, but also function well.

I hope you find my blog very informative and use it to acheive all of your goals.
